Will this change my QuickBooks records?
PeaBrain's software only allows reading and blocks requests to add, change, or delete records. The underlying connection provider's credentials can support changes outside our software, so protecting them matters too. We can explain the safeguards to your accountant or IT person.
Where does my business data go?
Your QuickBooks company file stays where it is. Records needed for answers pass through Conductor, PeaBrain, and Claude, encrypted in transit. Conversations, connection logs, and emailed summaries can be retained. Our privacy policy and your agreement explain the details.
PeaBrain does not train models on your data. We configure the included Claude account to opt out of model improvement; its provider still processes information under its own terms, including for safety and legal purposes.
How do I know the answers are right?
We compare your agreed answers with QuickBooks reports during setup and explain any limitations. AI can make mistakes, and incomplete records can affect results. Your books and accountant remain the reference for accounting decisions. If an answer looks wrong, contact PeaBrain.
Will it work with my QuickBooks setup?
PeaBrain connects to QuickBooks Desktop on Windows. Enterprise is not required. We'll check your year, edition, company-file location, and permissions before you buy. The questions available depend on your edition and records. This offer does not cover QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks for Mac.
Your QuickBooks computer needs to be on, awake, and connected, with QuickBooks open. If QuickBooks or the connection is unavailable, answers may have to wait until access is restored.
Why not use ChatGPT or my bookkeeper?
PeaBrain saves you repeatedly gathering and uploading reports by connecting the chat to your QuickBooks data. Setup, answer checks, and ongoing support are included. Your bookkeeper continues to do the accounting work you rely on them for.
What if it doesn't work, or I want to cancel?
Monthly billing waits until your agreed questions work and you've had your walkthrough. Setup is refundable before work begins. Afterward, a full setup refund applies if we cannot deliver a working connection at all after 60 days; it does not cover every unanswered question.
Cancel with 30 days' notice. Your final month is prorated, the connection ends, and data retention follows your agreement. Read the refund policy.
